Sales Terms & ConditionsThe following terms have been placed to protect both Buyer and Seller. These terms are not negotiable. Seller reserves the right to retain a goat at any time during the sale process. Seller also reserves the right to sell goats to the best homes based on seller’s determination of any Buyer’s herd management and care. A non-refundable deposit of a minimum of one half (1/2) the price of the goat is required to reserve any animal that is for sale. This deposit will not be refunded to Buyer under any conditions, except for the following: 1) If the goat becomes sick, injured, or dies while in the care of Seller; or 2) If Seller decides to retain the goat or not complete the sale for any reason. Purchase price is to be paid in full at the time of pick up. All goat kids will be disbudded and vaccinated with CD&T vaccine unless sold before they are old enough. All goat kids, if sold as registrable, will have ADGA or AGS applications completed by Seller at the time of sale. All animals previously registered will have the applicable transfer paperwork completed by Seller at the time of sale. Risk of Loss: If the animal should become injured, ill, or die after the date of sale, it is the responsibility of Buyer to cover all expenses. Seller not liable for the health of the animal after the animal leaves Seller’s possession. All goats must be picked up by Buyer within two weeks of the date of this contract, unless other arrangements are made in writing with Seller. If Buyer does not pick up their animals before the agreed-upon date, any and all deposits will be forfeited. If Buyer changes their mind or cannot timely complete the sale for any reason, any and all deposit(s) will be forfeited. Buyer may transfer their deposit to another goat if one becomes available after the deposit is received, at Seller’s sole discretion. Buyer will be required to sign a revised Deposit Contract if the deposit is transferred. Deposits can be made by Paypal Friends and Family, check, or cash. Credit card payments through Square are also accepted but will incur an additional processing fee of 3% of the deposit amount. Deposits made by a payment method other than cash must clear the bank before the animal can be picked up. Remaining balances must be paid in cash at the time of pickup.
