About Us
We're a small farm located in Southwest Louisiana. We raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats and KuneKune pigs.
Our goats are ADGA and AGS Registered. We breed for show quality goats who excel in milk production and at Linear Appraisal. Five Waters Ranch is ADGA Plus Member and participates in ADGA performance programs. LA Bred Tags for 4-H/FFA available up on request.
Our pigs are ethically raised and will produce quality, well-marbled meat and lard.
In addition, we occasionally offer plant starts, fresh produce, goat milk soap, and even farm equipment such as milking stands for goats.

How it Started
We never intended to start this adventure when we did.
When we got married, we always we'd like to have a farm one day. We expected it to be one of those mid-life things when you finally decide (and can afford) your dream "ranch." But in 2017, we stumbled upon a 36+ acre farm in Longville, Louisiana that we couldn't pass up. Almost immediately, we started collecting animals--horses, sheep, cows, chickens, quail. We eventually decided to add Nigerian Dwarf goats to our herd, because we're foodies who enjoy quality, homemade food--butter, cheese, creamy milk. Since then we've worked hard to provide our goats with a good life so they could provide us with the milk and meat to feed our family. When our children were born, they quickly fell in love with our little herd.
Amidst the growth of our farm, disaster struck. in 2020, our home and barns were destroyed by Hurricane Laura. After living in a travel trailer for nearly two years while sorting through issues related to the hurricane, we purchased 40 acres and a home in DeQuincy, Louisiana and started over with our infrastructure. Now, our goats live in barns and pastures designed to give them a long, healthy life.
In 2023, we added KuneKune pigs to our farm. These miniature pasture pigs are friendly, easy to keep, and provide high quality pork to our family table.
We hope that you find something you love while learning about our farm. We believe a family farm is a great place to raise a family and teach our values to our children. And we love to share about what we're doing with others. So drop us a line, share your story with us, and welcome!
